Tiger Booster Club celebrates 50 years

The Falls City Tiger Booster Club celebrated 50 years of dedication to Falls City High School.

Started in the summer of 1970 by Hank and Ron Schwartz, and an enthusiast and dedicated group of Tiger fans started this group. Their purpose was to always to be there to show the athletes and coaches that they could depend on their support. The founding group always wanted to encourage good sportsmanship and the promotion and pride of the school colors, orange and black.

Fifty years later, the Tiger Booster Club is still going strong. Through Parent’s Night, equipment and uniform purchases, sound systems for the gym, scholarships for senior athletes, the building of a weight room, gym bags, pizza, Gatorade, and watermelon, the Booster Club has always been there to give their support to their Tiger athletes.

Each year the Booster Club honors all athletes with the annual all-sports banquet.

“Throughout the last 50 years, we have been blessed with outstanding, awesome members and Tiger fans. Thank you to our many Tiger boosters who contribute to the Tiger Booster Club each year. The Booster Club wouldn’t be the vibrant, active group it is today without all those who have given of themselves so tirelessly,” said Board member Cindy Kopf.
