On February 19, 2020 at approximately 6:41 a.m. the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle fatality accident on Highway 75.
A northbound 2007 Dodge Ram pickup pulling a flatbed trailer crossed the center line striking a southbound 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 69-year-old Robert Hansen of Lincoln, Nebraska. Both vehicles came to rest on the Southbound shoulder. Hansen was pronounced dead on scene. The driver of the Northbound pickup was transported to Nemaha County Hospital and later released with minor injury.
Highway 75 was shut down until 8:00pm.
