Sacred Heart Homecoming 2015

       Falls City High Sacred Heart seniors Maggie Goltz, daughter of Doug and Janice Goltz, and Henry Arnold, son of Henry Arnold and Samantha Arnold, were crowned 2015 FCSH Homecoming Queen and King following Friday’s Sacred Heart vs. Exeter-Milligan football game held at Jug Brown Stadium.
    Other Queen candidates were Louise Hamilton, daughter of Jeff and Sheila Hamilton, and Natalie Kreifels, daughter of Michelle Kreifels.
    The other King candidates were Lane Reggie Johansen, son of Christyne Pokorny and the late Larry “Reggie” Johansen, and Cameron Jordan, son of Kathy Jordan and Mack Jordan.
    Crowning the ‘15 King and Queen were last year’s winners, Abby Magdanz and Austin Malone.
    While a student at Sacred Heart, Maggie has excelled in volleyball, basketball, track, choir, band and one-act. She has been a class officer and served on Student Council all four years. She has been a member of National Honor Society since her sophomore year and is currently the president. Maggie has received numerous athletic and All-State honors as well as Academic All-State for volleyball, basketball and track throughout all her time in high school. She is the co-captain of the volleyball and basketball teams. She has been a member of Helping Hands, pep club and has been on the Green Honor Roll all four years.
    Maggie received the Academic All-Conference Bronze Award for her ACT score her junior year. She is currently employed at the FC Fitness Center. She is a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Maggie plans to attend college and majoring in Biology.
    During his time at Sacred Heart, Henry has been involved in Helping Hands for the past two years and has participated in football, basketball, track, one-act and choir. Henry has received many academic and athletic awards. He is employed at SunMart and is a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. After high school Henry plans to attend college and is undecided at this time on his major.
    In celebration of its 125th year, Sacred Heart, and to make Homecoming a little more special, invited some of the past Homecoming Kings and Queens back to be honored at halftime of Sacred Heart’s triumphant victory over Exeter-Milligan. Beginning with the 1960 King and Queen through the present, names of each year’s winners were announced and they were invited onto the field, if they were on hand.
