Jack Richard Parriott, 81, of Chandler, AZ, died on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his home. He was born Sept. 27, 1932 in Albert Lea, MN, to Richard and Bernadine Parriott.
Jack married Mary Jean Weinert, of Falls City, in 1956. He graduated from Garrett Evangelical Seminary in Evanston, IL in 1957. Jack was a minister, serving several parishes in the Minnesota Conference of the United Methodist Church. He retired to Chandler in 1993
Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean Parriott and children Mark (Tammy) Parriott, all of Newton, IA, Ruth (David Willoughby) Parriott, of St. Paul, MN, and Joel (Laurie Mignone) Parriott, of Chevy Chase, MD; siblings, Robert (Jeanette) Parriott, of Kiester, MN, Patricia (Norbert) Hochreiter, of Willis, TX, and Susan (John) Randolph, of Seminole, OK; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service for Jack Parriott was held in Chandler on Aug. 9, 2014. His inurnment will be at Bethel Zion Cemetery, Falls City, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, with Rev. Paul Weinert and Mark Parriott in charge of the service.
