The Lady Tigers inched closer to .500 with three-straight wins last week.
Falls City, now 7-8, cruised by visiting Elmwood-Murdock, 41-29, Saturday; avenged an earlier one-point loss to Maryville (MO) Friday on the road, with a 29-21 victory; and crushed Tri County, 41-24, last Tuesday at Prichard Auditorium.
Junior Sydney Armbruster led the Lady Tigers Saturday with 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while freshman Alyssa Frederick connected on three of her four three-point attempts to finish with nine points. Senior Madison Olberding recorded a team-high nine boards, while fellow senior Brooke Scheitel also had a solid game with eight points and seven rebounds.
Both teams struggled offensively Friday night, as FC shot 6-of-31 from the floor and the Spoofhounds were 7-of-41 shooting, but the difference was at the free-throw line where the Lady Tigers converted 16 of their 22 attempts. Olberding, who finished 5-of-8 at the line, led FC with eight points and 10 rebounds.
