The Falls City Middle School 8th grade class are going Hollywood!
The 8th grade Language Arts and American History classes will be bringing the fame and stardom of Hollywood to the Middle School Tuesday evening, November 12, from 6-7:30 p.m. as part of their 6th annual Chautauqua event and will include appearances from Hollywood stars such as Abbott and Costello, Johnny Depp, Marilyn Monroe and many more.
Our 8th grade students have worked diligently over the past couple of weeks researching and recreating a historical figure who has earned their way onto the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Students have created collection containers relating to their individual character and a one quarter donation placed in their container allows spectators to observe the students’ individual performances. Students will be spread throughout the school to provide room for their individual props.
This is a free will offering event and the money raised from this event will be donated to a charity selected by the students.
This Chautauqua Night event is open to the public and we appreciate you sharing in this project with us.
