According to the report from the Nebraska Department of Revenue, net taxable sales for Richardson County and Falls City during July increased over those of year ago. However, motor vehicle figures were down slightly.

A young Falls City man will be formally acknowledged for his heroic act next Thursday evening, May 2, in Lincoln during the 12th Annual “Tribute to Heroes Awards Dinner” sponsored by the Nebraska/Southwest Iowa Region of the American Red Cross.
