Injury accident Sunday morning

Two Wichita, KS, residents were hospitalized Sunday morning as a result of a one-car accident just south of Rulo on 660 Blvd.

Members of the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, where a 2012 Chrysler mini van, driven by Gary Marsh, 76, had left the roadside and traveled some 576 feet before coming to a stop in a ravine. Both Marsh and 71-year-old Mila Buchanan were taken by ambulance to Community Medical Center in Falls City for treatment of potential chest injuries. Both airbags deployed and both Marsh and Buchanan were wearing seatbelts.

Marsh told officers that he might have lost consciousness while driving, leading to the accident.
