The Blue Storm Juniors piled up 41 runs in three wins last week and have now won six in a row as the improved to 8-4 on the season.
Last Tuesday the Juniors defeated Hiawatha 17-5 in Hiawatha. Wednesday they hosted Tecumseh and rolled 11-1, then Thursday they cruised past Pawnee City, 13-3, on the road.
The bats have come alive during this six-game tear as the Blue Storm have averaged nearly nine hits per contest and tallied 76 runs.
Austin Malone led FC offensively in the rout of Pawnee City as he had a perfect 4-for-4 night at the plate with three runs-batted-in. Malone is batting .600 on the season and leads FC with 11 walks.
Bailey Witt, Logan Scheitel and Zach Jordening each had a pair of hits for FC, who finished 14-for-33 at the plate against Hiawatha.
Weston Witt earned the victory on the mound as he pitched 6 1/3 innings and allowed just two runs and five hits while striking out 10.

Jordy Stoller led FC at the plate and on the mound last Wednesday in their 11-1 victory over Tecumseh.
Stoller reached base four times, scored three runs and drove in a run.
On the mound, Stoller gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his five innings of work.
Eleven runs in the opening three innings allowed FC to put the game away early. An RBI single by Malone, a walk by Preston Decknger and a two-run single by Koner Hogue during the first inning was followed up by another RBI single by Malone, an RBI single by Sawyer Kean, an error and an RBI single by Deckinger in the second.

Dalton Witt and Sawyer Kean each drove in three runs against Hiawatha, while Austin Malone, who reached base four times, and Weston Witt drove in a pair of runs each.
Trenton Pentecost improved to 2-0 for FC as he picked up the win over Hiawatha. Pentecost pitched all five innings and struck out eight.
