Seeking youth ambassadors

The Falls City Area Chamber of Commerce/Main Street Falls City is excited to announce the development of a new program aimed at enhancing the leadership and communication skills of the community’s youth.

The Towle-Vandeberg Emerging Leaders Youth Ambassador Program’s purpose is to help shape the community leaders of tomorrow by equipping them with advanced skills in leadership, social awareness, community loyalty, and philanthropy while fostering their interpersonal growth so that they may begin building the foundations of the future of this great community.

The Falls City Youth Ambassadors will consist of approximately 10 high school students who will be selected based on their application submitted to the Chamber/Main Street Office by June 1, 2013. Those students chosen to represent Falls City and participate in the emerging leaders program will be given the opportunity to work side by side with community leaders, develop and implement their own youth programs, and participate in numerous other activities all while developing vital leadership and communication skills.
