CHARLES W. FOURAKER

Charles Wesley Fouraker, 78, passed away at his home in Pacific, WA, on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. He was born on Sept. 3, 1938 to Charles O. and Margaret (Ellis) Fouraker at their farm home near Salem.

He grew up on farms south of Salem and Dawson and graduated from Honey Creek School in 1956. Charles was a member of the Falls City National Guard and worked at the Falls City mobile home factory before moving to Columbus to be employed at Dale Electronics. He later moved to Washington state, where he began work for Boeing Company and also served as a police officer for a period of time before returning to Boeing, where he later retired.

Charles is survived by his wife, Paula; children, DeaEtta Hertzfeldt, Sparta, WI, Charlotte Moga, of Marysville, KS, Charles Perry, of Winona, MN (from his marriage to Jerre Ann Stumbo), and daughter, Teressa Fouraker, of Sumner, WA (from his marriage to Betty Hess); sister, Mary Tiehen, of Linn Valley, KS; and a brother, Gary (Marcia) Fouraker, of Fremont; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, an aunt,  neices, nephews and cousins.  

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Nathan; as well as his parents.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
