Phillip Scott Fisher, 77, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on August 30, 1943, in rural Shubert, Nebraska to William Lewis and Elizabeth Ann (Percival) Fisher. He started his schooling in Shubert and later transferred to Falls City when his family moved there. Phillip graduated from Falls City High School with the class of 1961. On April 7, 1966, he entered active duty in the U.S. Navy and served his country until being honorably discharged on October 22, 1970. Phillip began working for Frontier in Falls City before driving truck for Keim Transportation and Koch Trucking both in Sabetha, Kansas. He lived in Falls City and Dawson for many years.
Phillip passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at the Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center having reached the earthly age of seventy-seven years, three months, and twenty-one days.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jack, Paul and Warren Fisher, and sisters Fern Wenger and Erma Fisher.
Phillip is survived by his brothers Roger Fisher and wife Deanne of Brownville, TX; Tom Fisher and wife Clarene of Pawnee City, NE; and other relatives and friends.
Inurnment will be held at Harris Cemetery in Barada, Nebraska on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
