Linda Marrs, 58, of Reserve, KS, passed away December 15, 2017 at Reserve. She was born September 22, 1959 in Falls City, to Orville and Phyllis (Law) Cudney, Jr.
Linda was raised in Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1978. She attended Lincoln School of Commerce and graduated in 1979 as a medical secretary. She then worked at the Lincoln Diagnostic and Evaluation Center until moving back to Falls City in 1981.
She married Chuck Reilly in 1984 at Gloucester, NJ and they later divorced. She then moved to New Jersey with Chuck while he attended school, returning to Mound City in 1986 and she moved back to Falls City after the divorce where she met Jesse in 1987. She married Jesse Marrs on September 4, 1994 at Falls City and they were later divorced.
She was the office secretary at Flair Fold and following the closure of the plant worked various jobs in Falls City. She moved to Reserve with Leonard in 2003 and had lived there since.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Amanda Reilly and her special friend Clayton Vonderschmidt of Falls City, son, Trevor Marrs of Lincoln, brothers, Glenn Cudney and his wife Carlene of Falls City, Dave Cudney and his friend Betse Stuart of Emigrant, MT, sisters, Karen Brown and her husband Robert of Falls City, Rhonda Reichart of Omaha, a granddaughter, Daycee Witt of Falls City and special friend Leonard Witt of Reserve.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Father Thomas Dunavan officiating. Inurnment will be in Steele Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
