Mildred “Ann” (Richardson) Liberty, 83, of Verdon, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Falls City. She was born on October 15, 1942, in Verdon, Nebraska to Jess and Florence (Hall) Richardson. Ann attended school in Verdon and graduated from Verdon High School with the class of 1960. She continued her education by attending Southeast Community College where she received her LPN degree.
Ann is survived by her children: Jeff Liberty and his wife Kim of Verdon, Christine Horn and her husband Dan of Verdon, Greg Liberty of Lincoln, Patty Jackson and husband Jeremy of Mound City, MO; grandchildren: Tisha Jackson and husband Kevin of Rock Port, MO; Hailey Liberty and her husband Johnny McAndrew of Verdon, Andrew Horn and wife Amanda of Auburn, Rachel Horn of Verdon, Cree Liberty of Adams, NE; Dr. Nate Liberty of Lincoln, Tucker Liberty of Lincoln, Sammy Rhoades and husband Frederick of Mound City, MO; Jenny Jackson of Mound City, MO; 14 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law: Glenda Richardson of Alexandria, MN; Eva Kelly of Rulo, NE; brother-in-law Arthur Liberty of Lawson, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Liberty, her sister Eleanor (Paul) Last, brother William “Bill” Richardson, and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Verdon Cemetery in Verdon, Nebraska with Tim Campbell officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
