Falls City’s Cobblestone Festival returns August 21–24 with “Hometown Superheroes” theme

The Falls City Chamber and Main Street is excited to announce the return of the annual Cobblestone Festival, taking place August 21st through the 24th. This year’s theme,“Hometown Superheroes,” celebrates the everyday heroes who make our community strong, from first responders and teachers to volunteers and neighbors who go above and beyond.

This family-friendly event promises fun for all ages, featuring Sam’s Amusements, vendors, car show, demolition derby and so much more! Join us in celebrating the spirit and pride of Falls City with four days of community, entertainment, and tradition.

One of the festival’s highlights is the annual parade, and area businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate! To register a parade entry, please email amber@fallscitychamber.com with the name of your entry and type (e.g., car/truck, float, large machinery, emergency vehicle, horse, etc.).  There is no entry fee and while pre-registration is encouraged, it is not required but it helps the organizers plan enough space for the entries.

Now accepting Grand Marshal nominations

The Chamber is also accepting nominations for the 2025 Parade Grand Marshal — a great way to honor a true “Hometown Superhero.” Submissions will be accepted through August 1st via the same email address.  Nominees can be individuals or couples who have contributed substantially to the betterment of the community. Letters of nomination should be as detailed as possible, listing all the reasons why the nominee should be considered.

Mark your calendars now and don’t miss this celebration of Falls City pride and community heroes. More details about the schedule of events will be announced soon.  Stay up to date by following the Falls City Chamber & Main Street on social media or www.fallscitychamber.com.
