Sandra Eickhoff, 71, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 1, 2024 at Lincoln, NE. She was born January 9, 1953 at Clay Center, KS to Walter and Leona (Moormann) Damman.
She married Harvey Eickhoff on August 3, 1980 at Clay Center, KS.
Sandra was raised in rural Clifton, KS and graduated Clifton High School in 1971. Following graduation, she attended Emporia State College and graduated with a teaching degree in home economics. She then taught school in Sabetha, KS until 1982 at which time she became a homemaker and farm wife, doing the bookkeeping for the farm. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, six miles north of Falls City, LWML and the Altar Guild. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, her grandchildren and volunteering for the Orphan Grain Train.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Harvey of Falls City, children, Ryan and his wife Tamara of Kansas City, MO, Jaime Kersten and her husband Brian of Seattle, WA, Jared and his wife Ashley of Falls City, grandchildren, Emma, Lily, Nate, Marc and Keaton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Mark and Steven Damman
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6 miles north of Falls City, with Reverend Ken Humprey officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
