Sharon Darveaux, 81, of Falls City, NE, passed away January 10, 2026 at Falls City. She was born November 1, 1944 at Falls City to Roy and Maxine (Grady) Murphy, Sr.
She married Ron Wissman in April of 1963 at Falls City and they were later divorced. She married Raphael Darveaux in October of 1989 at Falls City.
Sharon was raised in Falls City and attended Falls City High School. She worked as a waitress at Southside Inn and was the manager from 1988 until 1990. She was a devoted caretaker of her mother for many years. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Raphael of Falls City, children, Lori Hoffmann of Wichita, KS, Ronald Wissman of Falls City, Crystal Tracy and her husband Eric of White Cloud, KS, step-son, Raphael Darveaux II of Bellevue, NE. brother, Donnie Murphy and his wife Pat of Falls City, sisters, Harriett Curtis and her husband Stan of Smithville, MO, Carol Olson of Lincoln, NE, Linda Chavez and her husband Gene of Merriam, KS, Teri McClain and her husband Dave of White Cloud, KS, Vesta Mae Cochran of Falls City, sister-in-law, Patricia Murphy of Falls City, grandchildren, Nicholas Hoffmann, Hailey, Aliza, Emily and Charlotte Tracy, great-grandchildren, Alan and Connor Hoffmann. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Roy, Jr. and Roy Gene, sisters, Barb Liberty and Shirley Brown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Louden Redinger as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, 1 hour prior to the service at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
A Parish Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
