Tina Irene (Chandler) Ferris, 60, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on September 21, 1964, in Sabetha, Kansas to Gene L. and Mary E. (Watkins) Chandler. She was raised with her family in Missouri and Kansas where she received her elementary and grade school education. Tina later attended Effingham High School in Effingham, Kansas. In 1981, Tina was united in marriage to Jeffery Ferris at a church in Huron, Kansas. To this union two sons, Keith and Travis were born. The couple made their home in Falls City, Nebraska where Tina worked for 14 years as a clerk in the city office.
Tina passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of sixty years and nineteen days.
She was preceded in death by her father Gene Chandler and infant brother Ricky.
Tina is survived by her husband Jeff Ferris of Falls City, sons: Keith Ferris of Lincoln, Travis Ferris and wife Kate of Lincoln, grandsons: Jaxton Ferris of Dawson, NE; Remmy, Roczen, and Rylan Ferris all of Lincoln, her mother Mary Chandler of Falls City, brother Jeff Chandler and wife Donna of New Strawn, KS; sisters: Sheila Seager and husband Terry of Topeka, KS; Kimberly Chandler of Omaha, NE; Jamie Frederick of Falls City, NE; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Tina’s Life will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 1521 E. 14th street in Falls City. Inurnment will be held privately by the family at the Steele Cemetery in Falls City, Nebraska.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
