Brittany Jo Munoz, 33 years of age, of Lincoln, formerly of Falls City passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Springfield, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. She was born on August 22, 1990 in Fort Carson, Colorado to Silvano “Tito” and Lou Anne (Ramer) Munoz. Brittany was a member of the last graduating 8th grade class at Dawson-Verdon Public Schools and graduated from Falls City High School in 2008. While at Falls City High School, she was active in softball and received a scholarship to attend and play at Peru State College in Peru. Brittany worked several jobs but her passion was as a caregiver and CNA. She had a big heart and would do anything for anybody. Brittany enjoyed art, painting, softball, reading and listening to music.
Brittany is survived by her parents, Silvano “Tito” and Lou Anne Munoz of Verdon; sister, Cassie Munoz-Parsons and husband Randy of Highland, Kansas; maternal grandmother, Judy Ramer of Falls City; aunts, Cindy Clancy and husband Steve of Dawson, Sheila Snodgrass and husband Dan of Humboldt, Amy Gibson and husband Rich of Falls City, Marie Munoz of Escondido, California, Maria Stone of Indianapolis, Indiana, Maria Harless and husband Duke of Escondido, California, Betty Fierro and husband Tim of San Antonio, Texas; uncles, John Ramer and wife Stacy of Shubert, John Munoz and wife Cheri of Washington State, Jose Munoz and wife Leticia of Escondido, California; and many cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Macario Munoz; maternal grandfather, John Ramer; paternal grandparents, Silverio and Raquel Munoz; and aunt, Ana Munoz.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Verdon Community Center in Verdon with Pastor Dave Lockard officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Verdon Cemetery east of Verdon. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home in Falls City.
