Neal Frost, 71, of Rulo, NE, passed away November 21, 2023 at Rulo. He was born October 10, 1952 at Falls City, NE to Everett and Doris (Heitschmidt) Frost.
He married Pam Gerweck on June 14, 1975 and they divorced in 2000. He then married Linda McKim Jones on June 8, 2001 at Falls City.
Neal was raised north of Rulo and attended Rural School District 50. He graduated from Falls City High School in 1970 and then went on to graduate the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with an Ag Business degree in 1974. After graduation he returned to the family farm and helped his father farm and operate the dairy business. He continued farming and did sub-contracting work through Ag Partners Coop. He was a member of Riverside Fellowship church at Rulo and a long-time member of his church’s board, Richardson County Extension Board, National Resources District and AG Partners Coop Board.
Neal is survived by his wife, Linda of Rulo, sons, Jef and his wife Elyse of Lee’s Summit, MO, Joel of Park Rapids, MN, step-sons, David Jones and his wife Alicia of Council Bluffs, IA, Dan Jones and his wife Stephane of Salem, NE, sister, Barbara Taylor and her husband Alfred of Raleigh, NC and twelve grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Neal’s funeral will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church with Pastor David Showalter officiating. Interment will be in Bethel-Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-4:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, plants or other items, the family would prefer a donation made to family choice for later designation.
