David Wayne Anno, 62, passed away May 14, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS. He was born February 14, 1959, in Falls City, NE, to Dwaine L. and Juanita (Prater) Anno, Sr.
David graduated from Falls City Sacred Heart High School. He was a self-employed over-the-road truck driver and enjoyed every moment of being on the road. David also enjoyed old cars and playing pranks. He had a wonderful sense of humor.
David is survived by: fiancée, Ruth Ruelas of Omaha, NE; children, Melissa Anno of Chehallis, WA, and Cory Anno of Analaska, WA; siblings, Dwaine (Sandy) Anno, Jr., of Falls City, NE, Geri (Tim) Meyer of Avoca, NE, and Doug (Sue) Anno of Lincoln, NE; stepfather, Leland Caskey of Lincoln, NE; five stepchildren; seven grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Anita Bentley; and brother-in-law, Kevin Bentley.
Cremation is planned. A private Celebration of Life gathering will be held in Nebraska at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
