Heavy rain and melting snow could cause historic flooding in Nebraska, Missouri, and Iowa. Officials in Atchison County, MO are advising people to evacuate areas near the Missouri River and Big Lake on this morning. The Missouri River is expected to climb over 26 feet by Sunday, March 17. Officials are warning people that the levee protecting Big Lake may be topped and widespread flooding will occur.
