Marcile E. Dean, 69, of Peru, passed away Monday, July 9, in Nebraska City. She was born Aug. 6, 1942, on a farm southwest of Salem to Virgil B. and Lena (Harms) Dean.
Marcile graduated from Honey Creek School south of Dawson in 1960. She moved to Falls City were she worked in a restaurant and at the trailer factory. In 1964 she moved two Peru.
She enjoyed quilting and sewing, watching birds and baseball.
She’s survived by her sons, Leslie (Cheri) Dean, of Peru, and David (Joyce) Dean, of Auburn; three grandsons; brother, Bill (Maggie) Dean, of Talmage; sister, Marie Proto, of Topeka, KS; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Mary Crary and Marshia Saathoff.
