HTRS-Queen Jena, King Kaleb






    Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer High School seniors Jena Fink, daughter of Jeff and Jana Fink, and Kaleb Knudson, son of Mandi Knudson and the late Scot Knudson, were crowned 2015 HTRS Homecoming Queen and King at halftime of Friday’s Titan football win over Freeman.
    While a student at HTRS, Jena has competed in volleyball, basketball and power lifting. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Stars Leadership, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and actively mentors young people. Outside of school, Jena is a member of the United Methodist Church, enjoys shooting hoops and being outdoors whenever possible. She plans to attend college and pursue a degree in Nursing.
    King Kaleb participates in basketball, baseball, track, Mock Trial, One-Act, Speech, Show Choir, Jazz Band, Band, Student council, mentoring, National Honor Society and HTRS Stars Leadership. He is a member of the Humboldt Christian Church, the Humboldt Table-Rock Youth Group Branch, and is a leader in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He enjoys playing baseball with his brother, Nic, and spending time with his friends and family.
    Kaleb plans to attend college and pursue a degree in pharmacy.
    Other finalists included: Jackalyn Fink, daugher of Jeff and Jana Fink; Will Drake, son of Les and Shari Drake; Whitney Leigh Ramsey, daugher of Staci Ramsey and Dave Ramsey and Koalton Taiclet, son of Twila and Michael Taiclet. Freshman attendants were Grace Kanel and conner Bredemeier; Sophomore attendants were Camille Svoboda and Carter Drake and Junior attendants were Chloe Workman and Logan Bredemeier.
    Through the week the students engaged in various themed days such as Red White and Blue Day, Dress as your favorite Villain Day, Color Wars, Hobo Day and finally Spirit day to celebrated being a titan. The classes also competed by decorating areas of the school based on various theme parks. Seniors had Lego Land; Juniors had Harry Potter World; Sophomores had Jurassic Park; and the Freshman had Disneyland. The Homecoming was organized by the Student Council whose members are Kaleb Knudson, Jackalyn Fink, Chloe Workman, Trenton Plager, Carter Drake, Amber Blank, Grace Kanel and Mati Stalder.
