Lady Titan seniors’ final home game Friday



 

 

 

Humboldt-TR-S split a pair of matches last week at a triangular in Pawnee City and currently hold an 11-7 record. The Lady Titans fell to hosts Pawnee City, 25-17 and 25-11, after they defeated Diller-Odell in two sets, 25-15 and 25-21.

Senior Courtney Allen and sophomore Claire Svoboda each served seven points in the win over D-O and combined for four aces. Allen also led HTRS with six kills and 15 digs.

Svoboda was tops with four points in the loss to the Indians, while junior Ashton Nanninga led the attack with five kills and two ace blocks.

Senior Kasey Kappel passed for 13 assists against D-O and six against PC.

Tonight HTRS travels to Johnson-Brock (12-7) for a triangular with FC Sacred Heart (17-3). Friday is Senior Night for the Lady Titans, who host Palmyra (15-4) at 4:30 p.m. Playing in their final home games will be Kasey Kappel, Mollee Sharpe, Courtney Allen and Carmen Alexander.
