The Falls City Journal, the Chamber of Commerce, Sunny 101.3 and KTNC are urging folks to do their Christmas shopping at home and the folks at Phillips 66 and Shopko have chipped in to provide some extra incentive.
Hourly drawings will be held at various local businesses the mornings of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday and three winners per hour will walk away with either a $50 Phillips 66 gift card, a $20 ShopKo gift card or $25 in Chamber Bucks. From 8-9 a.m. Friday, breakfast will be served and the first names will be drawn at The Barn at 3-State Stockyards, located on East 4th St.; from 9-10, the promotion moves north to Frontier Bank (formerly Richardson County Bank & Trust) at 1616 Harlan St.; from 10-11 its over to 1534 Stone St. and Chaney’s Furniture; and from 11-noon, your wife’s shiny Christmas present will be ready for pick-up (and sooner or later that $50 Phillips 66 card) at Armbruster Motor Company’s new car lot at 307 W. 17th St.
The second leg of the tour runs from 9-10 a.m. on Small Business Saturday at Brown’s Shoe Fit, 1615 Stone St.; continues from 11 a.m.-noon at Sapp Bros., 1521 Harlan St.; from 1-2 p.m. at Norma’s Antique Mall, 1715 Stone St.; and wraps up from 2-3, when the final names are drawn at Flair Boutique, 1611 Stone St.
YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!
Enter at each business during its respective above-mentioned hour on the tour to get your name entered for a chance to win one of the three prizes. After that specific hour is up, no names are retained for the subsequent drawings.
