Barbara Killingsworth, 80, of Falls City, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Falls City. She was born on Nov. 4, 1934 at Falls City to the late Kenneth and Helen (Stednitz) Crofford.
She married Eugene “Biggie” Killingsworth on May 30, 1954 in Falls City. He passed away on Sept. 19, 2007.
Barbara was raised at Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1953. When married the couple established their home in Falls City. She worked at Ketter Manor Nursing Home and FC Care Center; retiring in 1996. She moved to East View Apartments in 2010.
She was a Member of the First Brethren Church of Falls City and had served as a Deaconess of her Church.
Barbara is survived by a son, Kenny (Julie) Killingsworth, of FC; daughter, Kris Anno, of FC; brothers, Jerry, Dennie (Martha) and Roger (Beverly) Crofford, all of FC, and Terry (Cathy) Crofford, of Joplin, MO; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; step-mother, Margaret Crofford, of FC.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor William G. Shipman officiating. Interment at Steele Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
