Jani Rogers, 44, of Falls City, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at Falls City. She was born Nov. 1, 1969 at Denver, CO to John and Kathy (Story) Nissen.
On Jan. 24, 1989 she married Jim Rogers at Morristown, TN.
Jani was raised in Falls City and graduated from FC High School in 1988. When married the couple moved between Tennessee and Falls City frequently. She worked for several non-profit organizations most of her live. Locally she was employed at SENCA at Humboldt. She was a member of Valley Avenue Baptist Church at Falls City.
Jani is survived by her husband, Jim, of Falls City; daughter, Randi (Mark) Mosiman, of Falls City; sons, Jacob and his fiancé Bailey Bradley, of Falls City, and Nicolas, of Falls City; brothers, Timothy (Laura) Nissen and Joseph Nissen, both of Tennesse; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Valley Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Ben Moore officiating.
